According to The Sun’s Bizarre column, the 10-year-age-gap and Liam’s futile pursuit of a solo career are the main reasons behind the split.

With his child, that's he's responsible for. I doubt Cheryl is short of cash herself

I think you'll find in a lot of cases fathers don't even try to get custody

She is with Bear and that house the most and Liam is always away doing his solo stuff, their break up ended on good terms and i’m sure he is fine with her being there, he isn’t going to force them to move straight away and confuse their baby.

Most common scenario is joint custody. Residence usually goes to the mother but, to be fair, it's very rarely contested... and when it is contested, it'll go to whoever has been the primary carer before separation, unless there are some other circumstances like substance abuse. If the father has been the primary caregiver during the child's life thus far, and contests for them to reside with him, then there's a high chance of that succeeding

Not always. In most cases. That's because mothers are naturally the primary caregivers and, without long periods of separation, have a stronger bond with the child. It's no wonder most children end up with their mothers, as that is usually the best option for them.
