![]() considering circumstances (family knew) he made too much out of it it felt drawn out and staged by him (speaking as a gay man btw) |

No offence but when you pass judgment on how a person coming out isn't a big deal then expect to receive some criticism back.

Will folk stop using the fact they're gay as a way to make other people think their opinion is more valid. I'm gay, does that mean my opinion is more valid than chuff's???
You do not speak for the experiences of other gay folk around the world! Please stop! |

Lost on this one, all I have to say is that everyone imo has a right to live their lives in the way they want to so long as it isnt hurting another being. Whilst we may not be in a certain situation, we have experienced another and therefore we learn empathy, love and understanding. Eventually we will all know the reason why and until then we have to live each day as though it were our last. My thoughts apply to all things unacceptable to some but ok with others and vice versa, we have no right to judge....Possibly there shoudnt be headings, just life...it is the headings which make people uncertain.

I suppose it's a sore subject for me as I still know many (unhappy) people living double lives in the closet - so apologies if i appeared on my 'high horse' but i really struggle to accept people's opinions on issues they have no experience with...

Even though it was Cameron (David) who legalised gay marriage, Tories are not noted for their liberal values. Might well be a big thing for Cameron (BB) to reveal this to his wider family and friends - he's only just left school.

That is sad but you know your own feelings and what is best for you, that is all that counts. In knowing, you can help this is where our experiences give us the empathy and love which we all strive to obtain.

if anything my post showed that sexuality has nothing to do with how cameron's coming out is viewed, I'm gay and I found it cringe and nobody talks about "around the world" but britain in 2018 |

Love a good yorkshire pudding. My granddad who was proper Yorkshire, broad in his accent an all used to make smashing big ones from scratch. They were divine! God rest his soul.

just as people who haven't suffered racism have little right to express how POC should feel... just as men have no right to tell women what they can/can't do with their bodies... just as someone who is CISgender has no right to tell a transgender person how to feel/react/live their life... list goes on.. but yeah i'll leave it there.

![]() I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you feel bad. I take your point and am familiar with what you talk about. His situation is a bit different tho, with tv cameras, endless and unnecessary monologues about it. It felt a bit ott to me. |

![]() it's really nitpicking I know, but that's what we do on a bb forum ![]() there's no question that to those lgbt people in the closet the whole thing must have felt important and helpful. there's still plenty of people who'd prefer us to "know our place" |

I hate Cameron, but this really pisses me off. Coming out can still be extremely difficult, and I'd presume, based on this thread, you'd have no idea what it's like.

Either way folk are being manipulated emotionally set up by the producers and Cameron. The facts are there for all to see if they want to look at them. The story gave him a short term boost in popularity and it then sank back down again. That tells me viewers don't see it as a particularly big deal

I've just watched Ryan stride up to a women in the audience and tell her after asking her a question, " I didn't listen to a word you said cause j was looking at your amazing cleavage"
Is he allowed to judge what a decent set of tits are? Never mind behave like that on telly!!! |
