Alex is planning to grow veg this year. I predict it's never going to happen. Unless the process includes some kind of computer program or video game, or it encompasses hitting a ball with a bat, there's no way....

Yeah, that's the only way to get proper free range it seems, if you buy local from a place you know. I'm going to look into finding somewhere like that

I bought all my seeds already but haven't made a start on it yet but I'm definitely going to do it!

I have no doubt you will do it Niamh. Maybe I'll have a go another year, because it's definitely not happening this year. I grew runner beans one year, I was dizzy from my own success... and they tasted amazing! It is satisfying to eat something you've grown even though I've only done it once.

My friend has a couple of rescued factory hens. They were really shabby when he got them with lots of bald patches. Now they live in a lovely fenced in garden with their own little house and the eggs taste amazing. I would quite like to do that. Have rescued chickens, not lay eggs.

All I ever grew was some sun flowers back when i was a kid So I may be being a bit ambitious

I can get goose eggs this way, and buy them for family and that. But I don't like them. Seem..sour. I keep telling the farmer to get some bloody chickens but for some reason she won't.
