Diana was as much Harry's mother as Williams, William doesn't own the rights to speaking about her

Obama was a President...he ran the country for two Terms. Whats Harry done?. They quit the Royal family...they quit for a quiet life. However neither of them want to give up their Royal titles...in fact they tried hard to use them for their own gain until The Queen stepped in. They dont want a quiet life...they want to be celebrities off the back of their Royal titles only with the freedom to do as they like.

the crown has adapted the historical facts to make it a bit more entertaining, but the facts are there as anchors that can't be avoided. If we go back to the point where Diana died, the queen had to be told to fly the flag at half mast, she had no empathy toward the British public. Indeed, it was that point forward that I lost all respect for the royal family.

Not just the British Public, Diana was the mother to her two grand children

Yes, that was disgraceful. I went right off the Queen for quite a while myself after that.

"Diana says the Queen eventually considered her to be “a threat”
Despite early warmth from Queen Elizabeth, Diana said that their relationship soured when her and Charles’s marriage began to deteriorate. “I long to get inside her mind and talk to her and I will. I’ve always said to her: ‘I’ll never let you down but I cannot say the same for your son.’ She took it quite well,” Diana recalled. “She indicated to me that the reason why our marriage had gone downhill was because Prince Charles was having such a difficult time with my bulimia. She told me that.” This made Diana realize that the royal family thought she was the sole “cause of the marriage problems, and not one of the symptoms.”

Yet the queen is adored even when she wasn't a nice person but Meghan gets slated for breathing when she hasn't said or did anything bad/nasty hmm

I mean another way to look at it is that maybe now because of his own deteriorated relationship with the royal family he understands his mother a bit more and what she might have went through, being on the other side now like she was, he was only a child when she died, he wouldn't really have understood that properly back then

It's not just my view. He was paid a wad of money to speak to a gathering of big bankers about her and his mental health in the US.
He is accepting big bucks from Netflix who are misrepresenting his own family, no matter how dysfunctional some of them may be, they ARE his family.

It is just your view though, Harry spoke about his mother and you made a judgement on his motivations. William has spoken about his mother on TV before as well

..Harry has been very open in discussing mental health and he’s linked it to the death of his mother when he was so young...William has spoken about mental health as well...that’s a good thing, to raise awareness...that being a member of a Royal family doesn’t exclude from such things and poor mental health...

Yes, its my view Harry shouldn't use her to make money or further his ambitious.
Others may think that's perfectly fine. No problem.

We watched it recently...since watching it I have also watched programmes based on individual members. There was one on Charles and another on Camilla 2 nights ago. When you watch them the Crown is pretty accurate...but obviously conversations are created to fit around events and possibly based on Royal insiders interpretation of events, so much of that must be fictitious.

We really enjoyed it though.

...seeing the love Diana felt for her sons, I’m personally pretty confident that she would think Harry and his family’s future and happiness would be the best spending of any money...that’s what most parents would feel, I think...

...I should watch it, really...it has great reviews and I know that quite a few of my friends are addicted....it was interesting though that Charles Spencer said that it was fairly fictitious and yet that seems not quite how it is by what’s being said...

Any normal person would see it precisely that way. William has spoken about mental health and his mother many times but that’s ok because he’s being kept by the tax payer.

So no one should ever talk about their dead loved ones if they're getting paid to do talks? I just don't see how it's disrespectful, speaking about loved ones keeps their memory alive and it's therapeutic, Diana did suffer greatly in that family and with her mental health, personally I think she would be glad her son is still talking about her and recognising what she went through and sharing that with the world, she suffered in silence for a long time
