...I haven’t watched any of the Crown, Bots...but I watched some interviews with Charles Spencer recently ...and he said that The Crown was all fairly fictitious...

I mean another way to look at it is that maybe now because of his own deteriorated relationship with the royal family he understands his mother a bit more and what she might have went through, being on the other side now like she was, he was only a child when she died, he wouldn't really have understood that properly back then

It's not just my view. He was paid a wad of money to speak to a gathering of big bankers about her and his mental health in the US.
He is accepting big bucks from Netflix who are misrepresenting his own family, no matter how dysfunctional some of them may be, they ARE his family.

..Harry has been very open in discussing mental health and he’s linked it to the death of his mother when he was so young...William has spoken about mental health as well...that’s a good thing, to raise awareness...that being a member of a Royal family doesn’t exclude from such things and poor mental health...

We watched it recently...since watching it I have also watched programmes based on individual members. There was one on Charles and another on Camilla 2 nights ago. When you watch them the Crown is pretty accurate...but obviously conversations are created to fit around events and possibly based on Royal insiders interpretation of events, so much of that must be fictitious.

We really enjoyed it though.

...I should watch it, really...it has great reviews and I know that quite a few of my friends are addicted....it was interesting though that Charles Spencer said that it was fairly fictitious and yet that seems not quite how it is by what’s being said...

So no one should ever talk about their dead loved ones if they're getting paid to do talks? I just don't see how it's disrespectful, speaking about loved ones keeps their memory alive and it's therapeutic, Diana did suffer greatly in that family and with her mental health, personally I think she would be glad her son is still talking about her and recognising what she went through and sharing that with the world, she suffered in silence for a long time

I actually thought I'd hate it but it was really good
