There were quite a few people camping out there pledging to 'protect' the animal so I can sorta see why the police were there to make sure nothing kicked off, in the end the Defra officials are just doing their job but might have been met with threats and violence if the police weren't there

I do sort of agree that doing an extra test wouldn't have been too much to ask just to put an end to the whole circus
