I'm sure if he wrote another hit comedy as good as father ted, then he'd find employment, but he isn't, he's writing stand up that would make the winner of this joke competition blush with embarrassment, and attacking everyone and everything he can as he spirals downwards.

His is a human story more than cancellation, but it just so happens that his dehumanisation of others, is what started it.
