I think the fact the player has said she wasn't comfortable with it should be the main focus here. Also, his handling of it has been ridiculous. Had he said something like "look, i was over excited, i got wrapped up in the moment, it was a very foolish to do, i've let the team down and i apologise to Hermoso for my actions" etc then people might have a little more sympathy for him. That he doesn't know it was completely wrong of him to do is also a concern.
