But the man with no eyes was a creepy confusing moment, I guess it's more symbolic of being scared...it looked like that grandmother had her eyes stolen,or was that just in Taissa's head,as that was probably the first time she dealt with grief/ death.

…I watched the first series of Yellowjackets, which I loved…excellent cast as well as great storyline…I never got around to watching the second series, though…I must catch up sometimes as I’d forgotten about it…

Mine too, I think Season 2 is my all time favourite Season of any show

Apart from Season 8 which was awful, I hated how they ended it so I was really glad they made New Blood years later. I felt that really ended it properly. Also I really didn't like the story line of Deb thinking she was in love with Dexter, I HATED that. It ruined Debs character for me and hers and Dexter's relationship

One of the biggest issues with that Deb storyline is that it damaged their relationship retroactively as well... as you're supposed to believe she secretly always had feelings for him all along. WHich also makes it bad writing because this was never foreshadowed or hinted at all if you rewatch. It is VERY obvious that it wasn't pre-planned ... it was just written in at the end ... which makes their previous interactions play out inauthentically. I'm all for a good twist but the point of a good twist is that if you go back and watch again, you should be able to see the hints scattered throughout. With of course the absolute best twists being ones where NO ONE guessed but it was hiding in plain sight.

This one... no one guessed the twist because it was never thought of as a twist until the last minute... so their interactions are all clearly 100% brother/sister, and she clearly looks at him like a brother and that's it, and so the twist is gross and incesty.

Yep to all of that, exactly my feelings on it. It was a cheap, shock tactic and I can't stand when shows do stuff like that

And this is my first full re-watch of Dexter and you're right, it absolutely damages their relationship retroactively. I am paying full attention to all their interactions and it's so brother/sisterly, I have such a bad taste in my mouth for what's to come. My son is watching it for the first time atm and I'm just waiting till he gets to that part for his reaction to it

Didn't Dexter have a showrunner change after Season 4 I wanna say? That never helps a Show's quality, because the new Showrunner will inevitably in any Show start adding things that are possibly Show destroying.

I think that the original Showrunner would never have put a Dexter and Debs ship on the table.

I did really enjoy Season 5 but as far as i can remember it starts going majorly downhill from there and characters start doing things they never would have before, especially Deb but Dexter too

There loads of good mini series on My5 and most of them are only 4 episodes. I'm currently watching Cold Call with Sally Lindsay. I will watch the last 2 episodes tonight and then watch the Stormy documentary

…I binge watched this yesterday evening and really enjoyed it…thank you for the recommendation…… good characters and quite gripping all of the way through and just a solid quick watch with just 4 episodes…but that was enough, it didn’t feel rushed etc….

Some really good ones on there. I became addicted to them after watching coma. Last night I watched intruder. To avoid the adverts I downloaded the app and cast to the Chromecast.

I might be off on my Seasons tbf, but I am confident that a Showrunner change did happen.

Controversially I enjoyed most of Dexter's run, the only thing that I really just couldn't overlook was the last ever episode of the original run, that was horrible lol.
