Also it's not just because Labour are showing less indication of acting than Tories - I reckon these people are hopping mad because they got themselves all excited about Farage and Reform. And then they got 5 seats. No matter how much the people who understand how UK elections work want to paint that as "actually a great success" for Farage, simple fact is, these mobs and hordes expected more. A lot more. I wouldn't be too sympathetic or willing to excuse the behaviour of the Asian crowds in Birmingham yesterday. Fair enough that they feel very threatened by recent events but given that the reports of a far right rally there were false there is no excuse for them then acting threateningly to random pub goers, a Sky news camera crew and an LBC reporter. That's not defending your community

Some disgusting videos are circulating of Muslim yobs in Bordersley Green/Yardley being thuggish.

The antics like dangerous driving endanger everyone but swarming a pub and marching in large groups is playing into narratives that justify the senseless violence we've seen so far.

Same thugs, different tribe.

Hopefully the rest of us remember our friends of all races and look after our neighbours. Looking forward to this period being firmly behind us- though tensions and living conditions seem to have been ignored for so long I'm not sure where the solution will come from.

His government will need to start sorting out the asylum backlog, the mental health of those in hotels must be completely shot and now they have the added worry that there hotels might be attacked, its time to reduce the backlog, let those who can work and send the remainder back from whence they came, if they are seen to be doing this it will go someway to restoring order, at the moment I can only see words and no actions but its early days

I'm pleased to learn that someone on Facebook has been charged over Facebook posts deemed to be inciting racial hatred.

GOOD.

This should be looked at more, get at the armchair racists too.

This rioting started from lies and misinformation against Muslims.
It was lies .

Anyone supporting or defending these mindless rioters are just helping enable them.
Good ALL social media outlets should be being looked at very carefully as to what is posted and by whom.

Once protests have descended into rioting then the peaceful protest is over. You simply can't do it until order has been restored, and any attempt to is really just participating in the civil unrest.

No one should be arrested unless they're being violent or encouraging violence -- however there's no moral claim to be being "peaceful".
