For me, a maternal figure would make allowances, but within reason, and then guide someone to behave more appropriately in a social setting when they are more able to listen. Other wise it just enables young people to behave in a way which will make them unpopular. Blowing off a bit of steam in the diary room, and making a joke about it, was probably the best way for Emma to deal with it at the time, as it caused no offence or upset to Lily.

Maybe my assessment of the two and their actions comes from years of working with teenagers, rather than from a maternal perspective though. Either way, I’m thinking we’re going to need to agree to differ on this one!

…it’s funny isn’t it, how our assessments/perspectives of these things are formed…for me, I think that I probably feel quite protective because Lily is so young and not in any way mean spirited so far as we’ve seen so far …when I can see her irritating to the extent that she is, not only to some housemates to many viewers as well…?…I know how cruel reality TV can be and she is very young and essentially all she’s done is to operate on full speed with her excitement of being on a parent free adventure etc…my ‘maternal’ kicks in, I guess we could say…?..and I feel quite defensive for her…and yes of course, let’s agree to differ, Garfie…in that we’re both being true to our own instincts and perspectives of how we see things and that how it should be……

Ok just caught up with BB , I find it hilarious Lily & Sarah have a mutual dislike for eachother .

I have a feeling Sarah will be the first to say " I want to go home " , she's already breaking.

Someone needs to sneak a sleeping pill in Lily's water or something, she's too much . It would give me a blinking headache..she acts like a 5 year old on a constant sugar high. She even spat food out ...like a baby .

I'm thought Martha would pick Daze as a housemate, as they bonded over animals....hmmm strange.

I actually felt a bit sorry for Ryan losing his housemate status ,he seems an ok guy .

Emma had some funny one liners tonight , she's growing on me .

Ali seems quite intelligent

Oddly enough I always felt that Sinitta looked far more attractive when she was being herself rather than when she was posing for photos.. i have found some nice ones when she was around 40

Personally from those photos, I would personally still say that AJ is more attractive.

But that's probably an age group thing tbf, as AJ is more closer to my age group.

Oh photos don't always necessarily catch people looking their best.

Although tbf to Sinitta, me personally preferring AJ's looks is no shame, given the fact that AJ is very attractive imo.

She dated Brad Pit years ago , before he was a big star...back in his Thelma & Louise days. Sinita hasn't aged a bit. She still looks the same.... I'd be doing cartwheels if I still look as good as that ,when I get to her age .
