I've had a read up and we'll be spoilt for choice. Might get a side dish and then the icecream from the dessert place. Is there much in the way of seating?

There was 4 of us when I went so we did a mix up of a few different places, it's nice to be able to have a pick off a few dishes

Good morning Ammi...and everyone. Sorry we didn't post last night but we had such a great time, and were very tired after having so much fun. Long day but so so worth it.

The panto stars were all absolutely brilliant, lots of great music and dancing, with a funny plot. I'll never look at Rapunzel in the same light again.

Hotel was utterly gorgeous. Spotlessly clean. Nice and warm but not too much. Beds very comfy. Decent size private bathroom with shower. A bar in the hotel as well, it's beautifully decorated for Christmas. Staff very pleasant and helpful. I'll be giving a good review for sure and I'd certainly recommend it to @Cherie Christmas

Weather OK, bit chilly but dry so that was fine too.

Sad to be going home today, but was an overall great experience.

Vanessa loved it too, she was impressed with her first ever pantomime. And yes we got water thrown at us!!

Just going to Wetherspoons for our breakfast.

My trains were fine but Vanessa's were cancelled both ways, travelling here and also her home journey due to lack of staff. So she'll get refunded for the inconvenience.

My train has been cancelled, but I was able to change my booking and get on another train. Such a relief!
Apart from the travel nightmare this has been a fantastic trip. Always love seeing Kate. I love her company and Liverpool is always stunning.
They have a wonderful Christmas market as well.
