Don't really wanna get involved is this usual shitshow, but tbf, if seeing Danny (or any drag queen) for the first time and they're in full make up, then waking up the next day to see them completely out of make up will come as a shock. Just because of how different the person looks.
It wouldn't be unreasonable for anyone to be like "omg i can't get over how different you look out of make up". Nothing to do with prejudice or any kind of phobia, it's just a natural human reaction.
