Indeed and (though the MAGA sorts will find it difficult to believe) for the mostpart, actual foreign film-makers aren't primarily making their films for the American marketplace. e.g. Japanese horror and various bits of S.Korean TV and movies have been very popular in recent years stateside but ... ... the people making them are not making them for the US, they're making them for Japan and S. Korea... they'll change nothing about how they make their films... and yet American consumers will (seemingly) end up either paying more to watch them, or not be able to watch them via US-based platforms (i.e. Netflix, Prime, etc. won't host them in the US if it costs more, or they'll up their sub fees).

There still seems to be a major misunderstanding about who pays all of there tariffs, the MAGAs genuinely believe it's the "other countries" ... they don't realise it's them as consumers.
