The thing is, they were always gonna be #2, because they are riding the Xfactor single as a reason to plug that song. SO it only solidifies the xfactor even more. The people who were gonna buy the xfaCTOR single, will still buy it, regardless of RATM. Thats where the irony is superb. Same thing happened last year, and if they do it next year, same thing will happen again. I wouldnt be surprised, if some savvy people use the opportunity to plug their own song next year, and makes loads of money in the process. Now we'll have 2 gulible groups of followers every year, instead of 1. I never buy any xfACTOR SINGLE cRRAP btw!

You basically just confirmed that you have no idea what you are talking about.

Rage Against The Machine, the band, the promoters, nor the record label had nothing to do with this campaign whatsoever. It was not an instance of plugging.

Errm, did I ever say they did? I think its pretty obvious, since my last point, was someone will use the idea to plug their own song next year??? Anybody home?

Yes, you did. You said people were just using it as a chance to plug the Rage song, which is bollocks. Whether that was your intention or not it's not hard to see where I got the assumption from.

LMAO! Did I ever mention RATM, or their promoters. Did the starters of this campaign, not plug this particular song?
Oh man, now youre looking for any victory you can get. OK! FAir enough, my bad, I said it was "RATM who started the campaign".

Maybe it was a language misunderstanding, but in music industry terms, to 'plug' something is to big it up and market it for airplay and single sales, and is more often than not an industry term. It's a misunderstanding on my part, that's all. There's no need to be such a child over it.

How old are you?

I have bought neither of the two, I do quite like the Rage against the machine song though!

Oh i dont mind them. I just mind the absurdity of this campaign, and its huge self defeating irony, which they cant seem to grasp.
