Yeah exactly, he's said Guntanamo would be closed a year from when his inaguration.....don't see that happening.

He said he'll pull all troops from afghanastan and Iraq.......sends an extra 30000......

Only thing I can see good in is his amazingly long overdue healthcare plan.....

Why maddie?
I dont ahve time for her idiot parents, they make my skin crawl. I hate seeing news articles about her.

I mean, kids are dying, but the whole world has to stop for a kid who was murdered by her parents, but if you claim this, your a horrible person. But be honest most people now they had somethign to do with her dissaparence.

I voted 9/11, but 7/7 is also up their!

7/7 arguably would not have even happened without 9/11.

9/11 spawned an entire new culture of fear and paranoia which led to numerous policy changes, bill introductions, laws and all sorts on both sides of the atlantic. It led to Afghanistan and Iraq. They in turn led to a hell of a lot more. It's effects are still being felt and the ripples will continue for years to come.

I'm not making light of 7/7 but no contest, IMO. The only way 7/7 possibly could have been a bigger deal is if it affected you on a direct, personal level.

It's quite extreme to point the blame at the parents. I'm thinking it is unlikely, although something was definitely dodgy. Leaving the daughter alone in the room? Irresponsible.

Anyway, I don't give a toss about Maddie.

Only because of the conspiracy theories and exaggeration and the fact the Americans have been so slow trying to rebuild their "empire". The war in Iraq didn't have to happen, and it shouldn't have. We've put our forces out there and what have we succeeded? Absolutely **** all. All we have are a couple of hundred dead soldiers.

7/7 was equally as disastrous, but we didn't make a big fuss of it all. The next day the trains were running and we went about our business like nothing happened.

Exactly, so it was a bigger deal than 7/7, in my opinion. It directly led to two wars which are still continuing.

As for the conspiracy theories, well, Rockefeller was caught on tape months prior saying a big event would take place that would allow America to invade Iraq & Afghanistan. I'm not on the David Icke scale of conspiracy theories but some do have credibility. The ultimate goal is to create a climate of fear where the eventual result is everyone's currency and securiy gets controlled by a chip or card like device. They don't like you? Switch off the chip.

To be honest I'm not a world authority on conspiracies but I do believe there is more than what meets the eye. Americans did not nessacerily attack their own people but I believe at the least American intelligence had knowledge of 9/11 but let it slip because they knew they would get the war out of it.

9/11... as it did cause some of the other events in the list.

There should be other things included eg. The Dissapearance and Deaths of Sarah Payne, Millie Dolwer (just a few miles from me), Hollie Wells and Jessica Chapman. All 3 cases were huge and are in the same league as Madaline's dissapearance... but Madaline's is probbaly most remembered as its more recent and has still not been found.

You could even have Shannon Matthews one, and her being found.
