Stacey, imagine if your parents had the same attitude towards you as you do towards Haiti.
What would your life be like if they decided that once they'd had you they wouldn't have anything to do with you? what if they had said, "oh well, she's not our problem, we'll just let her stand on her own two feet".
If they'd never spent money on you, you'd be in the ground. That's what it's like with Haiti...
