I have to say that BB shpuld be applauded for applying some common sense to the situation. Did they break the rules yes they did, do different rules apply to them then other housemates, yes they do, and rightly so

At the end of the day John James and Josie are box office, and they are keeping the ratings up. Unfortunately watching Steve sleaze all over young women and Mario becoming more unstable by the day is not going to keep people interested. Their "will they, wont they" relationship has captured the publics imagination and it is in the inrerest of the show that they stay in.

Justice is a rare comodity in this "business of show" and people like Dave, Steve, and Mario are not entitled to it as they do not deserve it. They just dont have that "it" factor. Lets be honest here they are quite simply boring (and in Mario's case three sheets to the wind). When you think about it, Big Brother cracking down hard on them for rule breaks makes them interesting for a few seconds so in practical terms, Big Brother is doing them a favour.

Dave's infraction (this time) was so borderline it was unbelievable - he didn't actually mention nominations, he actually mentioned non-nomination of 2 individuals. This could conceivably only be seen as influential if there were only a few people in the house left to nominate. JJJ told JJ they wouldn't nominate him which is far more influential than what Dave did.
What JJJ are doing with their mics is rule breaking 101. What do they have to hide? Switching off or incapacitating their mics means they are not participating in the show. They have already been punished for it - remember they had to draw cocks on each other in the DR - a savage punishment if ever I saw one. If they still do not wish to be part of the program then show them the door and give us back our fecking show.

How do you know what they were discussing - that is the whole point - they took their mics off and could have been talking about anything - including nominations! They would hardly admit to that though - would they! Naive comment!

Maybe 'romance' is what rocks your boat (why not watch a romantic movie or read a Barbara Cartland) - but many of us don't feel the same way! On the whole people are not so much interested in 'will they' or 'won't they' - but simply annoyed at their attention-seeking antics and bb thrusting this drivel down our throats! Any many like some of the other hms!

Firstly Yes they are keeping the ratings up. Figures are figures and they don't lie

Secondly Romance actually dosen't rock my boat, I'm a realist, and while many of you don't feel the same way, more of you do !

Its taken the makers of the show along time to realise that the public are essentially stupid. They vote out the interesting characters and then complain that the show is boring

Thankfully this year the makers of the show are trying to ensure the public don't screw it up again and they will keep the likes of Ben JJ and Josie in the house for as long as possible.

I think you give the producers too much credit. Sure, the show has inevitably evolved into what it is (possibly mutating a bit), but the producers get it wrong too often - surely the crappy ratings is proof of this?

They miss obvious tricks (like actually having a celeb be the Uber Cougar), bad HM selection, a lot of the tasks are absolute dross and, as mentioned, being shamelessly biased toward things they think will boost ratings.

It isn't a drama series, it is supposed to be a reality show - about the public vote - and it is no longer that this year! A farce!

A lot of people are watching because they are frustrated at the 'showromance' and are eager to see one or both of those two removed by the public - not because they want to see them all over each other - they want the chance to watch their favourite hms for a change!

Why on earth do you watch a show when you believe the producers think we are all essentially stupid ? In my book - they are the stupid ones if they think the public are interested in such drivel and need them to tell us what we want to watch!

I do, however, agree on one point - Mario is potentially a future sex pest!

Someone on here just sadi Josie and JJames were showstoppers,really,I cant say I've noticed that and talking to people who just watch the programme son and off, they are sick of the pair of them and this fake romance nonsense that hogs all the BB ptogramming.
I cant think of more than a few instances where I ahve actually laughed at or enjoyed much of what JJames has done,In the early weeks Josie was a bundle of energy and was really funny too, she was a great housemate, I was really enjoying her hammering JJames when he insulted her size etc and she turned on him and really put him down.
Now however,the BB content is chronic, it is taken up by the most boting and false of ALL the BB romances,and it is clear that BB do manipulate the content to ensure who looks good or bad and it is also clear they want JJames or Josie to win, maybe some of the production team have Australian connections.
This BB has descended into the worst ever now, yet had so much promise,tasks like the GLEE task were really great,JJames didn't feature much there despite his so called good looks,they all were good in that with their efforts.
I also laughed at the IFE dance comtent too, and Shabby's and Caimhe's reaction to it,I laugh at Corin a lot,with her I'm buzzin and lovin it sayings and the best moment for me and I know others who dont even like Ben or Corin much was the night he played Goldfinger on the piano and she sang the SHIRLEY BASSEY song.
That was like something from old time music hall with the bad diva singer and her stright faced partner at the piano, they would make a great double act.

John James and Josie though are totally boring,thye have made this and when it is looked back on, it will be seen how they destroyed this last series of BB rather than help make it the best one or even a good one.

BB have from the start had a whipping boy as they had Freddie last time,this time it is BEN, and if BEN leaves this week then the show dies massiveley,there will be no living with John James who will think he cannot do any wrong at all after that.

Finally. punishments,no argument, every one else gets hammered for disobediance and rule breaking except 2 people.JJames and Josie. In past BB when arguments have started, both involved have often been called to the diary room and told to calm down, JJames has got away with saying some truly nasty foul mouthed things to at least 2 female housemates,he ATTACKED Sunshine, you can joke with people but once you lay your hands on them that constitutes a technical assault, if you then keep hold of them when they tell you to stop then it is an assault, he dragged that girl along the ground while she yelled stop, he tightened his grip more even when Mario went to help her.... his punishment ,say sorry to her!!!!
Josie swtched his and her microphones off for a time ,they were told to write daft messages on each other,for goodness sake, yet with those microphones off she or he could have said next nominations nominate this one and that one,no one knows, they probably didnt ,but could have.
The we have the breaking our farce for attention by JJames. again all he gets is sympathy and of course its biased and its wrong of BB to be that way.
Whoever goes this week if its not JJames, will in time be seen to have been a far better housemate than he ever was and if Jjames ends up winning then he will be the most unworthy and worst winner there has ever been.

BB has fialed the viewers this time and it has been very discrimatory in the time it has give to some housemates while havins watch 2 idiotic adults playing at schoolkids, hiding under a duvet and talking so no one can make out what they are saying.IF thats called entertainment and is the lasting memories of this series of BB then what a very sad waste of a great opportunity for BB this time who have protected Jjames and Josie and Steve to the detriment of the other housemates, hence 3 walkouts plus an injury from a very badly planned task by BB again too.

I agree with you WOMBAI. If the ratings have been up then it is probably because people like myself have continued to watch in the desperate hope that they will show us something else other than these two. Every night I am bitterly disappointed at what I am being shown!

I kind of agree, but - right or wrong - I think that kind of manipulation goes against the original spirit of the show.

If the producers always shape the outcome of situations and decide to focus on showmance too much we may aswell be watching Hollyoaks.

Dave has is 100 times more interesting and funny than JJ and in my opinion those two qualities are entertaining. What is so entertaining about this dead end relationship? what more is there to see? I like Josie but JJ does my head inside out!!
