The Tusnami version of this is worse, you actually see the faces of people as they get drag away and die

Oh god yea, the Tsunami one was horrific, the old couple who were trying to reach the side but then got swept away, then you see the old woman died but the man survived

I have seen it before too... I don't know if it's because I flew to Greece on Sep 12th 2001 and missed the intense news coverage that followed, but I still find it hard to take in what happened that day. When I see the plane hitting, the people jumping to their deaths, the towers collapsing and just the sheer size of the whole thing... even the ash cloud which covered most of Manhatten shocks me.

And as for the Tsunami on Film" programme... I have never cried like I did when I watched that. Seeing the father and daughter looking through the photos of the corpses looking for their daughter/sister was one of the most horrific things I've seen.. their grief on finding her was unbearable

Shaun, it really is horrific! But it's kind of difficult to stop watching as it follows a lot of seperate stories and you kind of have to know who made it and who didn't.. A few miracle escapes but in general, one of the most depressing things I've ever seen! I was literally sobbing!

I can't watch programmes like this. I tried to watch the Tsunami one but then just had to stop because it was upsetting me.

I swear all these programs about it where only last month. Can not believe its been a whole year.

My parents were telling me loads of stuff that I didnt know. Like how we were going to leave our house because we lived next to a base that could have been targeted, and how there was loads of traffic because everyone was trying to go pick up thier kids from school and stuff. I think its made me remember the journey home from school, but Im not sure if its a dream or my imagination.

I remember the 'Calls From The Towers' programme. That was just horrible, the one who left his mum a voice message to say goodbye, I bawled my eyes out.

all the schools got closed and I remember hearing at least 20 people getting called to go the the office to go home. The teacher left to talk to another teacher and I know now that they knew something was up.

I remember watching this last time but I've had to re-watch.

It's such an excellent program and so emotional.

The part that terrifies me is the ash and dust cloud coming down the street suffocating everything - literally hell on earth.

I wouldn't have been able to cope with witnessing something like this personally, it's unimagineable.

I told him to shut up and my mum was like dont say that!!! I can understand her thinking it was mean but telling me not to say it, come on!!! shes so pathetic.

I've seen it before. I can't believe how quiet people were. I think people were shocked into silence

Ugh still remember watching it unfold live on TV. I saw the second plane hit and my daughter (then a toddler) was laid by my side asleep on the sofa. I've never felt so sad and so grateful for what I had in my whole life

Not sure, All I remember is he was saying 'oh no' all the time and he kept filming people running away from the towers.
