The last time I recall it being as bad was about 25 years ago...... it lasted about 5 days before things got moving again.

I spotted quite a few driving home tonight, 3 of us in the car and we were totally 'gobsmacked'....... have seen icicles, but never like these, as long as you say, or as thick. It's all quite mesmorising though...especially when there are rows and rows of them.

Waits for reports of people being speared to death !!

Yeah, that would probably be the same year I was talking about.. And last year was bad obviously, but it was more the length of time that it hung around last year rather than the amount of it!

I'm going to Crieff Hydro on Sunday for the night,so I'm just hoping and praying that it doesn't get any worse!

My drivers have been covering L'Ston to Perth to Aberdeen route the past few days..... taken a while, but they've got there and back safely.

Just take it easy.

Well I have heard that Fife and Lothian have it worse than surrounding areas so one we make it out of Fife it may get better..

It's really unusual actually.. Normally Fife seems to escape the worst of any extreme weather and Perth etc get it bad.. but the East coast certainly seem to have taken the brunt of it this time!

And yeah.. we will take it easy. We're taking as few cars as possible.. 5 girls going in my car with luggage and a few erm refreshments. Plenty of weight

Love it! Fife was getting it a wee bit 'heavy' today - as per someone in Kirkcaldy.

Plus...there are worse places than Crieff Hydro to be snowed in !!

It'll be part of the adventure..... have a great time and more importantly, a safe trip.
