Definetly, I know that when I posted on C4 forums when they were working on the HO bit everyone there called for Cheryl to come to the main show the year she appeared in Later and they did that off the back of the feedback they got.

Yeah, not really sure how the want Ethan to come across. The cool, young, ethusiastic new kid on the block doesn't seem to work with him. The actor is far too bland and plain looking. Nobody would take him seriously as a detective.

Yes I remember that, they have created a real gem in Cheryl.


Would love to see another appearance of Chanterelle (sp) Not sure if she has it to become a series regular, but I did enjoy her pairing with Mitzeee.

Yes, because finding someone as bad as Alan feels nearly impossible.

As long as the new producer continues in the same way or even similar way Paul has I will be very happy. Surely whoever takes over will look back over the last few years, and learn from that. (although I wouldn't blame them if they skipped Allan's time with the show).

What I don't get is how they can be so sloppy with the actors they choose. I mean, yeah it's on at 6:30 but it doesn't mean they have to have bad acting.

He was brought in by Paul and the 2 senior management seem to have confidence in him so hopefully it pays off and they have great ideas etc. Lucy worked under BK but they had quite a few disagreements...

I know yeah, the casting agent (Dorothy Andrews) needs to improve on that.

Sounds like he was only contracted or intended to stay for a year but he's moving onto new projects at Lime Pictures and won't be going anywhere near Eastenders.

I was shocked at that about Diane and Rob. Eva is bad but brilliant with it and funny, glad that Sheree came back to acting and I still think Anita comes back.
