I had heard the song before all the Glee/X-Factor covers, I don't see what all the fuss is about, it's a fairly mediocre song

er, we're not obsessed with it. It was just another hit record. Not even number one.

and as it's been said, it's revival is down to Glee. In case you havent noticed the song has been a big hit worldwide all over again so Im not sure why you single out the UK as being obsessed with it. Personally, I don't like the original version and kinda did like the Glee version for a short time. Now it grates.

and its so last year anyways.

But yeah not surprised it's gone really popular. Maybe the singer of Journey is so happy with it's success.

Journey have made plenty of other good songs though!

Journey is a terrible band, very generic and blah. I'm not surprised they never took off here.

I actually quite like the song too, but it is annoying as it seems to crop up everywhere.
Really, its been done to death,too many versions.
