I've known plenty of male sluts. In the gay community there is definitely the same kind of culture that the str8 community has when it comes to people being too promiscuous. Same kind of judgements and stereotypes.

It is hard coded into the male of just about any species that to reproduce is to succeed there is no getting around it that is the genetically encoded aim of males is to spread their seed so it shouldnt come as any suprise to see a man puff his chest up with pride when being told (via the word slut) he is successful at his aim in life.
Females on the other hand are hard coded not only to reproduce but equally if not predominately to nurture and raise offspring so to be focused on what might be seen as the wrong part of their instinct is seen as a failure on their part by women and so it becomes an insult to them. Might be harsh but its true we are just animals with primal instincts. |

so i guess it's more of a "semi-hard" coding then? like a carrot that's been boiled for just a few seconds... a bit limp, but still crunchy on the inside?

As for human beings, they have evolved outside of the animal kingdom. Roles change. Women have centuries of persecution for even thinking about sex. This is what happens in a male-dominated society. Women have held the same level of power and prestige centuries ago in many societies. Unfortunately, much of this was rubbed out thanks to misogyny. The majority of women I know, **** for the fun of it, and even have **** buddies. Granted, having a growing fetus inside of you does make you more susceptible to taking on a nurturing role, but there are tons of women who don't even want to have children, and if they do, they can do it without having sex with a man. How do you explain homosexuality, btw? If all we're here for is to procreate, why the hell are there so many damn homosexuals running around? ![]() |

It's been a while since men went out and killed an animal for the family to eat, and in this day and age the idea is as silly as the "men are hunters, women are nurturers" thing. We've evolved beyond it, at least in the West we have. On the other hand, I know a lot of women who are just as promiscuous as any man, just as predatory and not in the least maternal because women don't have to be any more. Women can choose whether they get pregnant because contraception is free and effective. Efective contraception is something that wasn't available to women prior to the 60s, and this along with the advance of equal rights has given us the freedom to choose whether we want a family and if so, when we want one. It's also given us the opportunity to sleep with whomever we want and to keep safe in the process. |

Truth hurts.

It's a nonsense to suggest men and women are today the same because we have (largely) equal opportunties. Biologically there are differences and they affect our behaviour and the way we think.

I didn't say they were the same. I said, in a roundabout way, that the gap has closed. A couple of generations ago women had hardly any rights at all, and contraception was unheard of, but now that's changed. There are massive differences between men and women biologically and there always will be. However, just because I am in the 50% of the population that doesn't have a penis, it doesn't mean I'm an Earth Mother and I don't feel any pressure to have a child if I don't want one whereas years ago it would have been natural to expect it. There is more choice for women now, and fewer social and economic restraints... that's what I meant.

You just have to watch an episode of Geordie Shore or similar to see that males and females have the same attitude towards sex and we have evolved a long way to see this type of equality. I sometimes feel let down by my fellow females, as they often appear to be the ones attatching the slag label more than men do
