Yeah, but that'll be a minority, depending on what uni's you apply too, you might not hear back until march/april

the offers they'll have got are probably unconditional ones - the ones where you need a point tariff you'll probably have to wait a few months for

Getting an offer back depends how your predicted grades match up to the Unis average grades. If you're applying for a crap uni like Man Met where you only need like 3 C's to get the right amount of points and you're predicted 3 A's then you'll get an offer straight away because that means they can bump their stats up. But if you're applying for Manchester where you need B's and A's and you're predicted C's and B's, it'll take a while longer until they see the standard of other applicants
Its all relative to you, doesn't matter how fast/long it takes other people to get a response Will probably be easier to get a place this year though with all the fees going up, its gonna put a lot of people off

All hail the Moyesiah

I think it varies really and can be a bit random, my friend was predicted A*A*A*A and he got his first offer relatively quickly but all the rest he was waiting ages for, but then someone else I know had all their offers already by December

Congratulations and a massive well done to you all. I really hope you get what you want and wish you lots of success. And don't forget to go to a few lectures and other things that'll mean leaving the Students' Union bar!

I dont fully understand everything but we dont start repaying until we earn a salary of £21,000 and we get grants/bursaries depending on home income and course undertaken.
My friend is planning to do midwifery and the NHS will cover it all for her ![]()

Offers from a simple application? Do they not do interviews anymore?

Yepp some do, also depends on how good your application is, I could have got 1 for UEA but they gave me a straight offer

I actually prefer the new tuition fees. Not having to pay it back until you're earning £21k is a lot better, especially for what I'm doing (music production).
