...do you realize that you can't reason with hicks/rednecks that are stupid as **** right? I live in America. There's no way in hell that'll happen. You would have to take away their guns from their cold dead hands after the gov't has killed them so you could actually get to them. This also goes for Gangsters,etc. Even if you ban guns they'll still leak into the country America is too big to watch every inch of the border.

Also I need to add something you showed that America has a bigger number. That's because it's a bigger population. Even with a number as big as that.

and also I'm sure the NRA isn't full of rich people. There's probably members of the middle class and rednecks.

Even on a percentage scale though America is always in the top 10 committing a crime.

the population isnt the issue, america has the highest rate per person of deaths by gunshot in the entire developed world, its rate is over 40 times higher than the UK? so for example if in uk where theres 60 million then 40 people get shot dead last year, in the US theres 300 million people and 8775 are shot dead. so the american population is only 5 times the Uk but the number murdered by guns is 220 times as many as the british?

I realise as you say theres a vast number of morons with guns. thats th ewhole problem. ....for evil to thrive all it takes is for good men (and women) to do nothing, the good people, the moral clever decent peace loving people must get mad and fight tooth and nail using their love of peace and pacifism and good moral law and order to reduce the guns and weapons available to joe public...this is an enormous problem and frankly it must be addressed now. otherwise you and all americans may as well leave tonight because that great country will go to hell in a handbasket

and why are you focusing on gun shots? does it honestly matter to you if your family member was killed by gunshot, or knife, or rope?? the facts are that the US is one of the safest and least violent countries in the world, and actually the UK has higher violent cfrime rates than the US. Why are you so obsessed with gun shot homocides, if you compare Europe as a whole with the USA it's about the same, so no, this is not a US problem, Europe is just as violent and has similar rates of homocide as the USA.

IF i have to choose between getting shot or stabbed, i'd choose getting shot.

The point is that it doesn't matter how tyou kill someone. You are selectively usaing statistics to be anti-gun when in fact having guns has nothing to do with it.

South America has some of the strictest gun laws in the world, they also have the highest number of murder rates, so wtf does guns have to do with it??

I repeat death by guns statistics are way higher per head in america than any other civilized nation. now why do you think this is and why do you ignore it? do you think america should have 300 million guns? maybe you think they should have more? how many more? 500 million ? 1000 million? should every adult and every child have a hand gun each? where do you draw the line?

you obviously didn't read my post. I said that homicide rates (by any means) is similar in Europe. You missed the entire point of my post obviously.

I never said "by guns". the entire point of my post is that Europe has similar homicide rates, even though it's not by guns. why are you so obsessed with guns??

...AND you totally ignored my point about South America having way less guns and far stricter gun laws, but having way more homicide rates...
