I feel bad for saying it but I lost interest by the time the Paralympics kicked off - there was too big a gap inbetween the two events for me, so I got used to a break from it all

However, they were both extremely moving and gripping showcases of talent, skill and triumph that the likes of soaps, talent shows and shock-docs can only dream of. They made me quite proud to be British which is a rarity for me, and they were above everything really good fun to watch (but then I've always loved watching the Olympics).
