the only reason it supposedly makes their position untenable is because we allow an hysterical 24 hour media to control everything including who we hire and fire. the sheer amount of corruption that is far harder to uncover yet is infinitely more damaging to our country , that goes unchecked is staggering. whereas someones tittle tattle private life and tales of flings affairs or swinging open relationships is seen as far more important yet is utterly irrelevant to our lives, is more important than blatant theft or corruption on the job. theft and corruption is often not investigated. we just go for the cheap and easy targets. same as the police, target the old lady who needs a new brake light or parks on a double yellow line at night for 2 minutes , ignore the hard drugs in the night clubs and the beatings that ensue from these druggies

look at local government corruption, exactly how many work for your council? how much corruption and waste? where do you go to get it investigated? exactly how many people work in the complaints depatrment? Ill bet the ratio is worse than 1 person per 1000 employees investigating corruption. even then youve got 2 hopes of a thorough independent investigation, bob hope and no hope

I'm afraid I don't see the relevance of much this, particularly to a case occurring in the States
