Dan is definitely gay... He's camp as Christmas.

Being camp is not a reliable sign of gayness, in fact I'd hesitate to try and set out any definite indicators other than someone having sex with a person of the same gender.

I'm quite sure it's fairly sexual on Hazel's side but not very much, if at all, on Dan's. Hazel has seemed like she's had the horn pretty badly from the word go, not that there's anything wrong with that...
