I suppose you're right, but I think it was a genius little TV show to begin with and continued to be so right up until the last episode of Series 4 and the end of Generation II. That ending was moronic and I didn't get the point in an all new Generation III with absolutely no connection to the one before. It's like the Sugababes being called the Sugababes even though none of them had anything to do with that group being created and none of them were even on the first album. It was fine having Generation II because Effy featured in Generation I and it was based around her and her new group of friends. And now this Series 7 nonsense makes even less sense. So they've ignored Generation III (even if it was pointless) and have chosen to see what three characters are up to. Cassie from Gen I, Effy from Gen II and Cook from Gen II. Mostly with entirely new co-stars. Why are they calling this 'Skins'? They made it perfectly clear in the past that after two series, time was up on all of those actors and characters, so why bring back a random trio who don't have much to do with each other and why do this now? Total bull****.
