I am starting to come full circle with Lauren. When I heard she was going in I thought - Oh no! Then I could see she was making a huge effort and I warmed to her. I felt sorry that her mother has sent her in with an unnecessarily large 'old lady's' wardrobe. I thought her mother was vile when Emma interviewed her - saying she had not missed her and pointing out that Lauren has curvature of the spine (meaning that viewers should not judge her on her bad deportment). I believe that it's her mother's cruel and constant pushing of Lauren that has caused Lauren's separation from reality (not her sexual dysmorphia). However, as time has gone by I am struck by how Lauren demands so much support without realising it. She believes that if she polishes it will keep her in - yet still leaves used tissues all over the floor. Whilst it is important for people to adjust to others with special needs Lauren is seemingly divorced from reality and in a complete bubble. Her clothes are not helping and her neediness is getting very hard to watch. She does not seem to engage when watching others do their tasks. I'm afraid I am struggling to like her again. Maybe this will change...
