How can you seriously defend this? I don't watch football on a regular basis but I think any true fan of the sport would be disgusted with this. It's on a par with the Tyson vs Holyfield incident.

I genuinely can't figure out how a grown man thinks this is okay and thinks that with the amount of cameras on every game he will actually get away with it. There's a slim chance he will get away with it on the pitch, if the referee/linesman doesn't see the incident clearly, but he will never get away with it after the footage has been scrutinised. I think there's actually something seriously wrong with the guy. And, he'll never get away with it on the pitch again now because he has a reputation as a 'biter'.
