I was just arguing with my mum about this. She only started watching religiously a couple of weeks ago so missed most of actual Helen and she likes Helen She thinks Helen, Ash and Winston are amazing and that Helen has grown and changed. But I believe it is just hibernation. I think perhaps she has learnt something about herself, but will snap back to her old self when she gets out.

I thought she was spot on with both Chris & Helen. Apart from Chris turning into Jale,
she also said that Helen had shown no remorse for how she treated some of the other housemates. This has been demonstrated by her continuing to put Danielle down, even though she was the one who targeted her with Bianca.

Well that in itself shows a dramatic change as to self control then.
To have now for so many weeks been able to hold her temper better,no way could she have done that in the first week at all.

Ifsomeone is told to change their behaviour,then they can do 2 things, do so and alter it accordingly or be unable to and carry on as you are.
Clearly Helen has 'been' able to do the former, therefore that constitutes a huge change over all the last weeks.

Helen needed to get noticed in the first few weeks so that she stood out from the crowd. The pass to the final allowed her to be as obnoxious as she liked in order to achieve that. She basically did what she knew how to do, and was successful at it. She has no need to make dramas now as she has control over her boys and is able to take centre stage whenever she chooses. Its not some life enhancing journey of self improvement she has been on, just the natural course of events.

When she was upset last week about her comment about Steven and Kim, she was asked in diary room if she was sorry for saying it. Her answer was in as she believes that what she says is always correct.

I tried to find out but the closest I could find was that he's a student so from that I would assume he's quite young? I think he looks 18/19 in that picture

I think it's hard for anyone to be 100% accurate all of the time. She got things right about Chris, and Helen.

Chris is getting too fond of Ashleigh, and using cuddles too much.
Helen hasn't changed. Her journey is all about herself, and not looking at the harm that she has done to others.

She got things wrong too...
Chris is scared of Helen, and cried with her (the crying looked fake to me)
Mark had a tantrum (the tantrum looked fake to me)

But even though she gets things wrong, she helps you to work things out for yourself.

Maybe Helen is one of those 'unchangeable' people but judging from what we've seen I don't believe so.

There is also the fact that she judges everyone's behaviour (from past episodes that I've seen her talk on) on the merit that they are not even humans but animals, or base tribal morons of some other reductionistic sort. She doesn't address the nuance and the more personal aspects of people's psyches. Maybe I am a bit off-point here as I have not seen her talk in a few weeks.

And I must add, that she has some pretty damn interesting insights, but then seems to undo them with a completely weird left-field comment which doesn't make any sense. Her conclusions tend to come from an assumption that people's intent is generally negative, and that people always have alterior motives, which has become too predictable to be based off of any kind of nuanced and balanced perspective.

Life is a learning curb, sadly those with just a little bit of knowledge believe they have the answers to everything. Your post is great. Many people are very arrogant at times but there will possibly come a time when they learn that if we touch the fire it burns, we therefore deal with the fall out and learn if we are sensible. I believe that Helen has been on a "journey" and I wish her luck along with the others.

I wonder who BOTS will be hitting tonight, Chris, Zoe or Pav. I think the HMs have all done Pav a favour though and he may be safe. I guess it will be Chris again.....

Have only seen Chris cuddle Ashleigh once and that was after she had her letter, he was so pleased for her. The HMs are generally cuddling each other so I guess he would have in that situation. Other than that he has been a gentleman toward her. Imo Chris is not scared of Helen. he wanted to understand her as he tries to understand everyone else along with himself. He thought he did at one stage and then he would get disapponted with her, it was sort of up and down with him.

Since BB moved to Channel 5 she has been more concerned at becoming a celebrity than actually doing her job I think it added fuel to her ever expanding ego when she went into the house for the task with Rylan in BB14.

Shes actually been there since BB3 as far as I can remember when Sunday shows were 1 hour instead of the usual 30 minutes and psychologists would talk about the housemates behaviour throughout the episode.
