I'm an Ashleigh fan, and do believe she was probably doing it to be spiteful to Helen. Maybe she wouldn't have done it if she hadn't been drunk, and maaaaybe she was just being nice, but I'm pretty certain she was spiting Helen

Not so sure myself tbh. When one is drunk one gets to love everyone and Ashleigh was really drunk. A lot of Helen's trouble has been the public perception of Ashleigh, thus voting her for a lot of the tasks. She has had a good reception whereas most of the others have been downed left right and centre. Helen must have been feeling very jealous of it all as she has had a lot of negativity thrown at her. They are the last two women standing, one by her own efforts and the other by Paulines.

Yeah I really am in two minds about whether it was spitefulness or drunkenness As other posters have pointed out, she was really emotional with Christopher too, and she never shows emotion to anyone really. It could have been drink, mixed with homesickness, mixed with happiness about the outcome of the trial task.

And yes, whether you're a Helen fan or not, she does come across as terribly jealous. Her DR rant the other day about Ashleigh's reaction when she gets picked for all the good stuff oozed jealousy. Not sure what Helen's problem is with Ashleigh saying "thank you" in a soft voice?

On the other hand, I don't think Ashleigh is jealous of Helen, but is possibly bitter that a lot of people in the house have had a positive opinion on her and have allowed her to try to rule over the house.

the talk about her soft voice is because she does it in a babyish voice, obviously its the way she gets stuff off mammy and daddy and has probably been using it for ages but its annoying when someone is supposedly an adult and yet uses her baby voice to get her own way

If she were my daughter and used that voice with me, she'd get f..k all, except to be told to grow up and stop being a nasty brat!
