Very good analysis, and I agree 100%.
One other thing I'd add to the discussion is that she seriously needs to try and understand what the phrase, "slagging me/you/us off," actually means. Just because people she doesn't like talk about her, and even point out her flaws, it doesn't always equate to slagging her off. But what she tends to do is hear people discussing her, not actually listening to what they are saying, and then proclaim, "They're slagging me off!!"
I've said it before and I'll say it her again, her "journey" will begin when she leaves the house and sees how her behaviour is perceived by others. Then if she starts taking steps to fix her broken personality,
that will be the start of her real journey.
