I don't think James behaving like an idiot is new about him at all.

In respect of the ageist attitude, I took exception to his wife's identical attitude when she was paired with Andrew Castle and she was very nasty and ageist about him taking part and being her partner.

There was no need for her to say anything especially as she doesn't have the same achievements as him when he was playing tennis and she was not popular with other dancers last year.

This obnoxious ageist pair should stick together or one or both could find themselves in trouble at worst for their comments or on the dancing scrap heap because of them.

Gary is a very direct kind of guy. He didn't take any offense at James suggesting he take a shower. In fact he said 'get me a towel and I'll take one now' James is also a very direct kind of guy. They have a very frank, open and direct dynamic. Actions speak louder than words and James takes the time and effort to communicate clearly with Gary.

James is a very macho guy but he is also open to listening to other peoples feelings and flirting with Leslie for a bit o a laugh.

He doesn't take any **** from anybody. He had no intent of pi$$ing Audley off. He was perfectly willing to have an adult conversation about what Audleys boundaries were. He would NOT however accept Audley physically intimidating and threatening himself and George.

While we are on the subject Audleys treatment of George over the 'Audrey' thing was pathetic. He was physically intimidating towards the much smaller and completely sweet and harmless George. Real big man, eh?
