As I have said though, he seems kind to him and then he backstabs him and....how do we know that Gary hasnt showered? Can we be sure that any of them have? Some just like washing and as an older man he may like a bit of privacy which he wont get in there. He may prefer baths to soak his limbs? I do not like showers tbh. I prefer washing and bathing.

True. How do we know all the others take showers everyday? We don't. But of course they only ever pick on Gary. Anyone else they wouldn't dare.

Gary is a very direct kind of guy. He didn't take any offense at James suggesting he take a shower. In fact he said 'get me a towel and I'll take one now' James is also a very direct kind of guy. They have a very frank, open and direct dynamic. Actions speak louder than words and James takes the time and effort to communicate clearly with Gary.

James is a very macho guy but he is also open to listening to other peoples feelings and flirting with Leslie for a bit o a laugh.
