I would get the 'free speech' or 'her opinion' argument for Katie Hopkins had she ever said anything nice to anyone on her social media or tv interviews etc but she hasn't, it's all done to shock as much people as possible and gain as much exposure as possible.

Definitely not a nice person and I don't think people like that should be given a platform to hurl abuse and deliberately try to hurt others IMO.
