Nothing we can really say to ease the pain for you, but your family were blessed to have your dog for 10 years, think of the happiness your 'baby' brought to your family, also what a wonderful family your dog has had all its life
A real shock for you it happening so suddenly but thankfully you were there in the final moments.

I know how hard it is to lose a beloved pet.....they're more than a pet they're our babies.

They bring so much joy and love into our lives and then leave us with so much heartache.

OH Kaz how awful , I've been in the same position and i was totally heartbroken, the last one was at the vets all on his own when he died and it was a bank holiday - when we collected him he was frozen solid !
I thought i would never get over it i was devastated - it was worse than other family deaths.
You become so close to your pets and its hard for people who don't have pets to understand how awful the grief is .
I read your post earlier but couldn't reply cos i was too upset - so i think i speak for everyone in sending your our love on the loss of your beautiful beloved boy.

Oh no Kaz I am so sorry, the loss of a pet is like losing a family member. You gave him 10 years of pure happiness take comfort in that if you can. He was a lucky dog to have had you as an owner x
