I wouldn't let a child smack a dog like that. I know the kid probably doesnt know how to stroke a dog properly but that's the parents look out. You teach them. I taught Eva how to stroke ruby and she's 11 months old but at the same time I'm always wary of Ruby because before Eva came along, she had no dealings with kids and she was a bastard for the first few months.
