I don't know how you can call Labour a sinking ship really.
Since it is only Labour and UKIP of the wholly national UK parties that are at present in polling,having a rise in voting intentions since 2010, as opposed to a fall in voting intentions for the Conservatives and Lib Dems, that doesn't sound much like sinking to me when they are in fact up.
