I like the dark, except when I go to the loo in the middle of the night. I always feel like something is going to grab me and I sprint across the landing and back to bed, feel safe as soon as I am in bed.

Have done this since I was a kid...in every house I have lived in the landing always freaks me out and I don't know why. Maybe I should see a therapist

With me it's bridges!! It's not a question of how high a bridge is, just that I feel anxious if I have to cross one.

..I love waking up to the darkness in the early morning hours when everything is really still and then watching it get light...but then if you stub your toe before you get to put a light on, it's not so good..so a bit of both really....

My friend used to think a hand would come out of the toilet and pinch her bum, if she went to the loo in the middle of the night

In reply to the OP, it has to be dark for me to sleep, but i prefer it light, i hate the dark winter, but love when the light returns in Spring, i hate when the nights start to draw in in Autumn.

I'm always afraid to look in the mirror at night time when I go to the loo, I always think there's going to be someone behind me

I've never watched the ring.....i don't do horrors

I always expected to see a demon behind me, and even now as an adult i still expect to see some horrific image behind me as i look into the mirror, but as a child if someone had their back to me i expected to see their face replaced with a demonic face when they turned to face me......strange!

Don't worry Vicky, I do the EXACT same thing, I don't know why but I just feel like everytime I walk back to my bedroom from the bathroom that something is behind me watching me so I run back
