It is genuinely not much fun after a while. Me and my wife owned and ran a forum (a parenting forum) of a similar size to TiBB for 3 years and eventually just gave it up, because it had simply become a chore and not enjoyable, and it was very low on active moderation and one completely unmoderated heated debates subforum. I miss the "tech" side of running a forum, I really enjoyed messing around with the code and inventing my own stupid BBcodes and add-ons, but I do not miss the moderation side at all. The staff-only subforum got really bitchy at times... I wonder what's said about all of us in the tibby staff forum?
