We had a creepy urban legend in my area when I was growing up. There's an area nearby, a walking track that leads over a bridge that used to be a train route years ago, and people said that if you listen closely at night you can hear a ghost train passing over, me being the easily-paranoid kid that I was ended up convincing myself that I did actually hear it a few times.
