To be honest America does not want or like Muslims in any shape or form terror threats or tourists it matters not , to the US they are all unwelcome to a certain degree.
Americans are very insular and believe all the crap they are fed. If any members or close friends of this family are now or have ever been on any US watch list then I'm afraid it's bye bye Holiday...........
Maybe the father(s) can sit down and explain to their children that they were stopped going on Holiday because Daddy hates the Country they were going to and everthing it stands for. Maybe the children will understand...maybe not
