Stephanie isn't a kid she is a full grown adult.
Last time I looked, at the age of 18 you are officially an adult.
At her age I was married with 2 kids, I never acted like her at 22, 13 maybe but not 22
and I agree with OP, she is very needy and needs validation 24/7 and Stephanie is very emotionally immature.
