It was wrong of any HM's who did KNOW about the incident NOT to tell Bear or try to dissuade Aubrey from actually serving it to him, and it was disgusting of Aubrey to spit in Bears food and drink, BUT, they all DID have mitigating reasons. In addition, the fact that Bear DID NOT KNOW about the incident at the time it was being executed, did NOT cause him any of the emotional or mental stress which he has been inflicting upon the 'others', and the fact that soon after he had discovered all about the incident, he invited Aubrey to spit DIRECTLY into his open mouth THREE more times, suggests that he did not suffer emotional or mental stress AFTER the event either. Given ALL the circumstances, and with Bear 'legitimising' Aubrey's 'Spitgate' incident, I would have to reach a verdict that neither the actions of Aubrey or the 'others' constitute 'Bullying' but more 'Understandable Reactionary Retribution'.

I agree. The spitting was gross but it wasn't a 'repeated behaviour'. Bullying isn't just doing something bad, or a competition for who's done the single worst act, it's about sustained intimidating behaviour... hasn't Bear even admitted as much with some of his comments?

He is the male Helen, targets people to get a reaction out of them and then makes them out to be the bad guy while chipping away at them. It's a classic bullying tactic.
I don't really see how anyone can warp events so much to make out that Bear is a victim. Him, Chloe, Marnie and Lewis are bullies. There's no argument to be had here. It's plain as day. |

I've actually stopped watching this series but I don't even care to say that this is literally how ridiculous the people who support him are:
(Bear torments his housemates and provokes reaction) Bear supporters: Oh my god! He is so hilarious! He's winding the housemates up so much it's so ****ing funny. Entertaining beyond belief! (Housemate - Renee, for example - reacts to Bear's behaviour) Bears supporters: Oh my god! How ridiculous is Renee! Why is she acting like that?! She fancies him, that must be the reason! Literally. So. Tiring. I feel sorry for the people who are sticking with this

Repeatedly forum members have expressed and explained their views, and given evidence to illustrate and support them. Why the constant demand that people jump through hoops and explain themselves over and over again?
The explanations and answers some are demanding are expressed here repeatedly within this thread, and in numerous other threads!! How many times does the same debate need to take place? Like Bear, it is tediously boring! The problem here is that some are repeatedly refusing to hear the explanations they are asking for, or are somehow failing to understand or absorb what is being clearly explained! |

![]() ![]() ![]() There's no point in responding to this sort of thing, Braden, as no meaningful discussion or debate can take place! I've chosen to just respond to posts that merit a response and have decided to see the funny side of these sort of ridiculous comments. Last edited by Garfie; 11-08-2016 at 10:19 PM. |

Dennis was ejected. They should have been too. It was a criminal assault and vile organised bullying. At the point she spat in his food, what had he actually done to her? What was she even retaliating to? Last edited by ThriceShy; 11-08-2016 at 10:56 PM. |

I don't know. Stephen Bear is this year's Perez Hilton; someone who, through relentless attention-seeking, has managed to wind up the rest of the house to the point where, whether they love him or hate him, they can't think about anything else. With his silly goats face and receding hairline, Perez Hilton is not a handsome guy, so I'm not sure Bear's success, thus far, can be entirely ascribed to his looks.

Britain has a think for coddling its masses like infants. Enough with the bullying nonsense. Grow some balls.

Sad to say I have not posted as much this series because it's in such bad shape. What's there to say really? Half the people getting camera time are about as deep as a puddle.
![]() Kirk, you are so right about Bear. For me, my local Bear are the idiots on the street corner firing off fireworks and "neighbors" firing off weapons in the woods at odd hours of the day. You can't say anything, they will make your life a living hell. There are several in the neighborhood. I have another neighbor whose hoodlums have physically threatened her, called her job and tried to get her fired after she called the cops on them for a noise complaint. I took my dog, who is a rescue, for a walk for the first time in many months while I was working on her anxiety and she flipped out when they started with the fireworks. Thankfully I had a good grip or she would've ended up running through 5pm traffic. Now I'm having to look at the possibility of medicating her and am having to take other measures to work on her. My other neighborhood was quieter and we used to walk every single for several miles. The idiot kids popping off fireworks, having to walk the dogs around broken beer bottles, slamming sticks and throwing rocks at other animals. She has very bad memories of this type of abuse and it terrifies her. It's a nice suburb otherwise, but can't wait until school is back on and summer is over... at least it will get rid of some of it.

I love your posts Maru - keep them coming. One question Maru - When you come onto a thread late, do you read all the posts on it from the beginning? I always do, and I just wondered if I was strange. ![]() Give my regards to that hard working husband of yours. I thought that there was only idiotic me who worked those type of hours.

Sometimes it feels like I'm coming to work with the zombie crew here at night to resurrect all the dead threads. Sucks too when I have actual insomnia.I was so angry at those kids the other day. I wanted to go to their door and throw a tiff (which I'm good at doing), but what would it accomplish? When I have time to do the work, I'm thinking of reaching out to the HOA to get them a new website and fix their networking issues. Maybe THEN we can also work on raising fees so can also get the second sheriff patrol in our neighborhood to scare the **** out of them. We had nearly full time patrol in my other neighborhood and they caught a break-in in progress (my husband was jogging nearby when it happened). Of course we call them whenever we see anything suspicious and they come by a few minutes later and take down information. There are a lot of people here voluntarily offer information when kids are acting out, running the neighborhood. That's the way it should be. My own victory story. This was before my husband took his job. I dropped my phone one day from my pocket (a super cheap phone with a busted screen on the outside of no real value). Whoever picked it up decided to use it as their free phone service. Well that was the worst day of their life. I had a pin code on my sim so they only could call on whatever battery power was left. I went through my call logs and started to call the numbers they called. Had a very long conversation with the adult of the household about the "friend" her kids were talking to. She didn't have an address, but I found the first number and common sense dictates they're calling a landline to test the phone. So I white paged it, go figure, it's in the same apartment complex. I called the police, gave them the number and address. (He came at 1am to take the report, I was shocked and thought very dedicated) He came back about an hour later with my phone. He said that the address wasn't quite correct, but he took the name and found the correct one in his laptop and woke the supposed grandmother up to tell her all about her grandson's activities. He said he gave him a rash of **** (his words), talked to him about his life choices and gave him the verbal reality check of his life. He had tried to put my sim card in his phone to continue making calls and I know this because the sim was locked out. Hopefully now he's a turned a new leaf. (Yeah.. right) I found a few pictures of him taking gangsta selfies of himself. You could tell he was a smug one. No doubt he sent those to his friends who now think he is a tool per their mom. Had a good long laugh at the ridiculous pictures, sanitized my phone, deleted the pictures, and then went on about with my business. ![]() T-mobile had a good long laugh too when I called them to unlock my sim and told them my story. We gotta get 'em when they're young before they turn to grown Bears.
