yes, fully agree. and it's also why ricky's not realised bear's distress had nothing to do with seeing his ex upset.

he's the complete opposite of shallow, and the only one apart from renee who's told him what a piece of scum he is. hardly scared of him. what he IS scared of is losing his temper, because when you're a nice person it really bothers you when you do blow your top.
