I have to say I think this was a terrible result for Labour. I am starting to wonder if what happened in Scotland might happen in the rest of the UK with Labour becoming a third or fourth place party and not the opposition it has been for many years. I think it's going to be interesting to watch any further votes.
It's true this was a safe Tory seat and it was always going to be, what is worrying for the Labour party is coming after UKIP and Lib Dem. I expect Diane Abbott will be on telly later with her patronising voice telling us all that Jeremy Corbin is the new massiah. Fun times.
