No wonder really... Labour pushed into 4th place (from 2nd in 2015) behind UKIP and the hopelessly limp Lib-Dems. The result was described by a veteran Labour MP as "humiliating". And it was.

The Tories love Corbyn. He's the biggest weapon in their arsenal.
I have commented and I have said anything other than a Conservative win in this seat is not only unlikely but unthinkable.

Of course its a bad result for Labour but if anyone really seriously believed they were ever going to do well here must live in cloud cuckoo land.

I wouldn't be reading a great deal into a by election with a bare 37% turnout and between only 1% and 3% for 2nd to 4th places in same.

The thread may be quiet because in a small part it is a near insignificant by election with a dire turnout.
Which on paper looks bad for all parties except the Conservatives, who in this particular seat are as near as it is possible to get to be, the guaranteed winners here no matter what.

What is the point of Corbyn supporters commenting anyway as you yourself will only likely shout them down and possibly try to ridicule them.
