Being British means taking pride in what this country has given to the world... art, literature, government, technology. It means being proud of being inclusive and multicultural (although it's okay to speak about immigration and Britishness without being a racist... some people on this thread are missing that), having taken in refugees for years... My own family for instance, was accepted here after the war and given a home. We've given more to aid Syrian refugees in Jordan than any other country in the world. Our troops were the first in to Africa to help with the ebola crisis and Brits are always first into areas after natural disasters.
There's nothing wrong with being proud of Britain, and if you hate it so much, if you disagree with the majority that you can being a proud Brit without being a racist... you can always try to find your Utopia somewhere else.

Wow, you sound so cutting
I’d agree with your sentiments if you were talking about the same Britain that I know and love but then I don’t hang out with neoliberals because their imaginary version of Britain is very different to mine.
I don’t want to live amongst the sort of Brits who want to lock down their drawbridges, privatize their medicine, their prisons and their schools and who’s government encourages its minions to be mean spirited and selfish towards their neighbours. I don’t want to live in a hostile Britain where philanthropy is a thing of the past.
