Default Pregabalin

Anyone ever used this?

Been prescribed it for nerve pain and just took my dose and I feel so spaced out and weird...is this normal?

Doc told me that this stuff (and my oxycodone) had street value so I figured they would work pretty well. Didn't figure on being high everyday though :/

Yep, pregabs. Street value of roughly a tenner a strip around here,a quid each.
Good for back pain etc but does space you out.

Jesus christ that stuff is strong. Took double my dose as tablets tend not to affect me...and right after writing this post...I was no good. Was walking into walls and felt drunk, but not in a good way. Will try my normal dose once these wear off properly (still a bit disorientated) and then maybe tell the doc I don't want them anymore

Quite why anyone would pay to be like that...I don't know...

Basically, surgeon badly ****ed up my gallbladder removal 'straightforward surgery' and I had to have these horrible gigantic drain things sticking out of my chest to remove the bile that was just leaking into my body ( ) and then had to put bigger ones in later on, I have never felt pain like it and I have had 2 kids! So anyway, they removed them and I often get the feeling that they are still there, which I have been told must be nerve damage.

Bloody hell...so I am really skint and have a hundred quids worth of pills sat in my kitchen?! Thats a bit mental. I would never sell them on though

Apparently the oxycontins sell for a fair bit too. If I had the guts (and didn't actually really need them for pain) I could set up a little business here

Yes this is my plan for the future

Literally every pain pill I have been given, does not work in small doses. I didn't think this would be different.

YES. It's normal. I'm taking it for my backpain and have been for a while.

I remember when I first took the prescribed dosage before bedtime and feeling dreadful. I couldn't even wake up the following day and was sleeping for hours on end, so I halfed the medication and wasn't as bad. But yeah. they do make you feel incredibly tired. Are you still taking them?

That's how I felt when I took them.

Still taking them, taking prescribed dose now and obviously..sods law..they have no bloody effect at the low dose. So I clearly have a choice between being a complete idiot and walking into walls, or being in pain. Great

I'd have a word with your Doctor and ask him for some different medication.

I have tried everything though. This is the last shot, and as it does work for the pain I don't want to give it back :S

They are going to do anaesthetic injections into my ribs and stomach though so hopefully once they start them I won't need other painkillers

Current cocktail is pregabalin, oxycodone and oramorph, with IV morphine when required

The crazier thing is, the only thing that works 100% is the IV morphine, which obviously I can't get at home and have to go into hospital for so I try to just wait it out for hours when it becomes unbearable on the offchance it will go away.

Or (sometimes) just keep necking oramorph until it works better. But when I do that I use up most of my months supply in one bloody day

Its a bunch of bollocks really.
